From head coach Kevin Nelson: "Very strong arm and great knowledge of the game. She threw out a lot of baserunners. Defensively, very solid and had a great year at plate offensively. Out of 80 at bats, she only struck out twice."

Lyndsey Quam (Zumbrota-Mazeppa, sr., P) All-Hiawatha Valley League, first-team Class AA, All-Section 1AA; Republican Eagle Player of the Year; .353 AVG, 24 H, 3 2B, 2 3B, 9 RBI, 23 R, 16-4, 1.75 ERA, 168 K, 42 BB.

From head coach Kevin Nelson: "We've had a lot of good pitchers go through here and she's by far the most natural as far as the ball coming out freely. Offensively, she's a very tough out. She has the ability to bunt if needed and is extremely fast on the bases. She had more walks than strikeouts. She always batted in the top two or three."

Hailey Ehlers (Red Wing, so., C) All-Big Nine Conference (2017, 2018), All-Section 1AAA; .343 AVG, 15 RBI, 2 HR.

From head coach Jon Bohmbach: "Hailey has been outstanding catcher for us. Very few teams attempt to steal a base on her due to her strong arm. She threw out 6 of 7 runners this year. She also leads offensively in almost every category."

Megan Erickson (Randolph, fr., C) All-Southeast Conference (2016, 2017, 2018), All-Section 4A, All-Section 1A (2017), honorable mention Class AA; .519 AVG, .544 OBP, 42 H, 7 2B, 8 3B, 4 HR, 32 RBI, 37 R, 15 SB, .983 FPCT.

She also led the team this year in RBI, hits and triples while striking out only two times in 97 plate appearances. She is a great defensive catcher with an exceptional arm (only two stolen bases this year). Megan is an extremely hard worker who is an excellent base runner and does a great job of handling the pitcher. Megan is our leader on and off the field."

Morgyn Otte (Randolph, fr., P) All-Southeast Conference (2017, 2018), All-Section 4A, second team Class AA, Class AA State All-Tournament Team; .476 AVG, .506 OBP, 39 H, 12 2B, 3 3B, 1 HR, 26 RBI, 10 R, 5 SB, 23-2, 1.58 ERA, 163 K, 34 BB, .956 FPCT.

From head coach Dennis Trom: "Morgyn is a dominant pitcher who had a phenomenal year. She recorded six shutouts, three no-hitters with one perfect game. She has excellent control, hitting her catcher's targets consistently. Morgyn is a power pitcher who gets stronger in the later innings. She is an excellent fielder and has become a very good hitter. She led our team in doubles and finished second in batting average, hits, triples and RBI. Morgyn's strength and consistency on the mound was a major factor in our run to the state tournament where she performed very well."

Emilie Rucker (Pine Island, sr., 1B) All-Hiawatha Valley League (2017, 2018), All-Section 1AA, Academic All-State, All-State honorable mention; .393 AVG, .465 OBP, .972 FPCT.

From head coach Malinda Vogel: "Torrie was brought up a few times as an eighth-grader last year and stepped into a huge role playing shortstop and our backup pitcher this year. She was one of the hardest working players on our team and was very consistent at the plate. She had the highest batting average on our team."
